A Week Without Spending

I was just reading Jody's blog about a week without spending. Don't think I have ever done that but what a great idea! Maybe we could make it a challenge for all of us here on the blog site. We pick a week then everyone vow not to spend for that week. Im sure we would get lots of creative ideas on how to get things without spending money over the course of a week. Anyone up for a challenge?

    I can do a week.... I have done a month every year, with a few friends. We chose January, as it seemed like a good month to take time off of purchasing anything.

    The only things that got paid were utilities & house payments. It helps that I hate shopping! We get a chance to clear out freezers & pantries too.

    Working at home makes this easier, however now with anything available online...........I need to swear off purchases that way too.

    Good luck on your challenge........It does become a habit!!

    Some has already decided to do this. It will start this coming Monday and run thru 6pm onSunday. It is in the discussion area.
